Connect
There are a variety of activities for all ages and interests that provide opportunities to connect with fellow ULC members and friends. Various groups allow us to nuture in each other a life-changing faith. We invite you to join us for fun, fellowship, study and often good food!
Fellowship Activities
There are several fun events for all ages scheduled throughout the year. Recent events have included the Alpha Sunday picnic, Advent dinner, Game Night, Lugnuts minor league baseball game, picnic at Patriarche Park, and Wild Game Dinner. Watch the calendar for these wonderful opportunities to share food, fellowship and fun with other ULC members.
High School Youth Ministry
High School age youth meet weekly on Sunday morning and other scheduled events throughout the year to share their faith with other Christian teens. The highlight of the year is a trip to "The Gathering" during Christmas break. Every four years, ULC teens travel to a national ELCA Youth Gathering. During the years that there is not a national gathering, a service trip will be scheduled. Go to High School Youth Ministry or contact Pastor Martin Halom at

Affirmation of Baptism (Confirmation)
Participation in the ULC Affirmation of Baptism program gives middle school age youth both educational and fellowship opportunities. Confirmation students meet every Sunday morning (September - May) from 9:40 to 10:30 am in the atrium across from the church library. In addition, they join with their peers while participating in a variety of church and community service activities. These include serving as worship assistants, working in local soup kitchens, serving the annual Easter breakfast, etc. The favorite fellowship activities are attending the annual Youth Quake in early January and summer camp.
